Small yet lovely, the farm’s olive grove unfolds on the slope beneath the house. It has the traditional Tuscan cultivars: Frantoio, Moraiolo, Coreggiolo and Leccino. After hand-picking the olives are swiftly taken to the neighbouring oil mill to be cold-pressed. The well cared-for trees, select fruits and immediate pressing produce a great extra-virgin olive oil with an intense fruity flavour, rich in green vegetable notes, with cardoon and artichoke standing out. The high concentration of polyphenols, vitamins and other healthy substances make the "I Balzini” extra-virgin olive oil an “elixir of life” combating cellular aging thanks to the antioxidant action of its components. Its vitamin content makes it ideal for children.
